[!NOTE] Australia-shaped landmass To be mapped onto a Roughly Australia-shaped landmass… the center is dominated by high mountains, deserts, and volcanic zones, while the edges feature diverse coasts, plains, and fens.
The Central/Eastern Core (Mountains, Volcanoes, Deserts, and Plateaus)
- The Mining Coalition of Midivar (Dwarves): Located deep in the central, non-volcanic mountain ranges. Their extensive subterranean presence forms the industrial core of the continent.
- The Kingdom of Norak-Zhun (Dwarves): Placed in the extreme South-East corner, in the “frozen reaches” or ice caps of the continent, isolated from others except via shared mountain borders.
- The Karuun Enclaves of Hrethfall (Sitan Apes): Situated in the North-East highlands (Khar-Mol Mountains), bordering the Sitan Giants to the south and the Mon-Ogers to the north.
- The Ardex Wastes (Sitan Giants): Occupy the large, central desert regions, bordered by the Karuun to the north and the Lanshir Savanna to the west.
- Land of Karskaro (Turquoise Orcs): Located in the East/South-East coastal volcanic regions (Cinderfang Range), benefiting from fertile ash soil and bordered by the Dwarves of the Glimmerreach Concord below ground.
- The Gloomreach (Giant Trolls): Situated just South-West of Karskaro, along the broken volcanic ridges, where they coordinate with Karskaro Orcs.
The Southern and Western Regions (Plains, Fens, and Coastlines)
- The Lanshir Savanna (Savanna Humans): A large territory in the South-West plains, bordering the Ardex Wastes to the east.
- The Roaring Wastes (Humans): Occupy the arid, contested lands in the far West of the continent, characterized by scavenging bands.
- The Kethrul March (Turtlelians): Situated in the South along the Rhel Basin, where low wetlands meet hills, fiercely feuding with the Saurian Empire.
- The Saurian Empire (Saurians, Zards, Stracks): Occupies the extensive river-fed jungles and uplands of the central-to-South coast, bordering the Turtlelians to the south and the Ratogs to the west.
- The Gnawlands of Vrekshaal (Ratogs): Located in the South-West/West, between the Murkflow River (bordering Saurians) and the Blackrindle Woods. They are often preyed upon by Mouse-folk to the north.
- The Fen (Frog Folk): A large, wet sprawl in the central South/South-East, bordered by the Mouse Empire to the west.
The Northern and Coastal Regions (Forests, Meadows, and Swamps)
- The Mouse Empire (Mouslings): A fragmented patchwork of kingdoms in the central North, across meadows and hills, bordered by the Frog Folk to the east and Orc/Goblin incursions from the west.
- The Kraghvor Expanse (Mon-Ogers, Green Orcs): Located in the extreme North across the permafrost tundra, constantly warring with the Karuun to the south.
- The Ashbound March (Goblins & Hobgoblins): Located in the North-West broken mountains and wastelands, near Orcish territory.
- The Realm of Caelthryn (Elves): Occupies the North-East coastal cliffs and dense forests, maintaining an outpost near Centaur territory.
- The Land of Thryssamar (Centaurs): Sits near Caelthryn in the North-East plains and forests, allied with the Elves.
- The Kingdom of Thistrelle (Fey-kind): A diverse realm spanning various biomes, likely located in the central East coast, utilizing coastal plains, moors, and forests.
Independent/Remote Locations
- The Kingdom of Tercento (Humans): The largest, most organized power, likely positioned on a major, defensible landmass in the East/South-East coast, acting as a nexus of trade and power.
- The Buried Reach of Molthrak (Grubvurm): A humid, rotting land, possibly located in the isolated North-Western tropical regions, characterized by thick jungles and extensive tunnel systems.
- The Tidefen Reach of Korrashal (Knoots): A low-lying coastal region, potentially in the isolated West/South-West coast, utilizing tidal flats and mangrove forests.
- The Old Empire (Humans): A fading power in a quiet, structured, guarded land, perhaps in the isolated West/South-West of the continent, near the Roaring Wastes.
Off-Shore
- Leave room off shore for large Island kingdoms for placing either the Independent/Remote Locations, or for future growth of new lands.
